ive waited for this game to be available for soooo long! probably searched every store i could find.. im so excited to be playing this game again. a classic!

A classic, now out on the App Store. Since I believe the three games together have a combined value of $50 CDN (or around there) $29.99 is worth it. Everything with this game is great execpt these four things: 1) Zooming in and out is way too sensative and be cumbersome. 2) Personally, the game is having trouble connecting to my iTunes library and I cannot use my own sounds in the game. 3) The controls are interesting. For example, rotating the camera is Q and E but no where is there a directory or these controls to be changed. 4) In sandbox mode (but not sure about career mode), the coasters to not move when in normal gameplay. They seem to just stand still even theyre "open". As well, to get rid of the black bars, change the resolution to 1480x900 in the settings just before starting the game. If you realize that you cannot see your own custom music, the way to fix the problem (which worked for me), if to: Open iTunes > make a "New Playlist" > drop all of the music you want into that playlist > make a "New Playlist" and title it RCT3 > then drag and drop that new playlist you made with the music you want, into that playlist folder. Then, sort the songs by name.

It has been years since I played this game.Its the reason I almost bought a Windows instead of a macbook! Now I can play my favourite most fun game of all time on my mac!

this game is awesome i got it but i was hesitent but its great it works very well and dosent give me any problems i would rate this game 5 full stars and i would defintly recomend it to anyone. and im so glad it FINALLY came to the new macs and not just old ones and pcs

Not bad the gafics are ok but i understand because it is a old game love it you bilt your own rids perfect simple not confusing.

When the original Rollercoaster tycoon came out, I played it extensively. Same with the Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, and the expansion packs. I never upgraded to 3, and I dont recall why. Time went by, and the games became out of date for my old PC. Ive often thought of checking into ways of bringing it back onto my Mac, through virtual machine or whatever it took. Then I came onto the App Store, and saw this. Having never played this version, I was bit concerned but once I got the feel of the operations, those concerns were quickly forgotten. This game is great, and very much like the original, with some graphical improvements. The only complaint that I have come to dislike, is the camera controls. Several tmes I swiped up to move the camera up, and the darn thing zooms into maximum zoom. Frustrating. Overall, anyone who was a fun, should not hesitate to get this. I hope they add some additional content that is exclusive to mac.

here is wat i think its a great game with just a few isues, because its a old game you have alot of restrictions how you build youre rolercoster. there is no full screen The next great game for mac is the new sims city coming soon tchek it out on the internet looks very great if you love rolercoaster tycoon you love age of ampiers and sims city 2013 oh yea and the reason i like this game is when im hight i love riding the virtual coasters its just sad thereis no HD

This game s one of my favourite games, and its finally on the Mac. I have been wanting to get it for my Mac, because Macs no longer run power PC applications. This is a great app and it has hours of endless fun, plus it takes full advantage of the better graphics, and faster processor. Great game, definitely worth the money.

Game is awesome, worth getting, stopped unexpectedly a couple times tho, nothing major but if theres any way you can fix it please do because its really annoying when you forget to save and then you get zapped out and loose everything, other then that this game is awesome!!!! :)

I remember ths game from my childhood. Works perfectly and fullscreen is fine. OSX 10.8.2. Keep it up Aspyr! Please keep porting games to Mac!

Graphics are good and overall fun to look at. However, very little keyboard shortcuts and options. Way to much point and clicking needed to do simple tasks. Actually building rollercoasters and pathways is very frustrating due to little things such as having to completely delete anything that is in that square before you can build. Switching to delete and then back to say pathway is not seamless. If you accidently put a path in wrong place or want to build over or across an existing path, you have to go and delete it first. Unless Im missing some option to over write. To close a building tool window you have to click on the little x in the bottom corner. No keystroke option. I could go on… It seems the short cuts are geared to camera views and looking around. Not for building. I like the old PC version a lot better. I want my money back since I payed so much.

Works perfect on Retina Macbook Pro. No Issue.

I have been looking everywhere for a mac version of this game… I am so happy it finally came out on mac! and for only 30 bucks? thats completely reasonable. works like a charm :)! thankssss apple

So when I seen this on the app store, I was actually so excited to play it! I LOVED the first and second roller coaster tycoon as a kid and never ever played 3. And now I know why, 3 is missing something that the others were. I found at times this game was overall boring, I played it for 10 mins and couldnt play any longer. It also could be because its an old game and just isnt up to todays standards. I think they should work on a 4th one, but overall its not worth 29.99 to download. I would rather spend it on much better things then this.

it is such a fun and addicting game TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY DONT EVEN HESSITATE ON BUYING THIS GAME. its pretty simple too. question: how can i get a lot of people to line up on my rides, on sandbox mode.

Its for the nostalgics. I want to love the game but it feels really old. Graphic are crappy. There is no easily accessible information on the rides when its time to buy one. It has a PC look that is absolutely gross. If you come from the PC world you might be ok with that. Overall the game is fun to play but navigation is just awful. Absolutly not worth 30 bucks This games needs to be redone from the ground up. Right now its just old (release date 2004)

This game is a great game i love it, but it was a bit frustrating for me at the beggining. I was so used to the first rollercoaster tycoon and this one was hard to get into. It is a bit pricey but overall great game.

This is an awesome game but, Something makes RCT3 and some apps crash. But first will look at the good side First of all, Ive been waiting for this game for a long time!(Since 2012!) I love it and I recommend you play this game too. Next, heres my problem, It crashes along with some apps! Can you fix that? I would love to see it gone.
