was so happy to be able to purchase the full game right in the app store on my new mac , i love it but the graphics jsut needed some tweaking , but what do you expect from an 11 year old computer game . lol . love this game .

I played this game way back and remember it being quite fun, this is that game, however too much so. The graphics are underwhelming and the interface is downright unusable in some instaces. It’s obvious the game was taken from its original form with no updating of any kind.

I was so excited for this because I figured it would be somewhat like the classic game. However, it is not and it is confusing to use and not user friendly. I regret my decision to buy this and don’t recommend wasting the money on it.

I’m a huge fan of Roller Coaster Tycoon and have played it since the original 2D versions on Windows. I was really hoping that the next version of RCT would have a native Mac port but the RCT World has not been released yet (on any platform). RCT3 is a nice fill in - the current version is a good start. The animation and rendering work well and the game is almost as much fun as it used to be. The biggest problem is that the controls don’t work the way they used to. For example, there is no way to rotate your view (please correct me if I’m wrong) and you can therefore not view your creations in the same manner as the original game and not be able to easily modify entry and exit for coasters. This gets annoying very quickly. I laud the developers on their effort but this needs to be fixed.

Clumsy controls, brutal graphics, and an overall terrible experience. Don’t buy this game if you’re hoping it’s anything like the old Rollercoaster Tycoon.

I was sooo excited to install this and play but unfortunately it keeps crashing. I’ve tried everything I can and it literailly will never start. It opens and is playable for about 10-15 seconds and then it crashes and sometimes even crashes my entire computer down…please help!!

My favorite game! It is amazing and fun! never gets boring! I always have new ideas for rides! you can do what ever you possibly want to do!!! can’t wait for the next one to come out! GET IT!

cant even begin to play the game becasue my cursor keeps going to the right.

I love the game but for me, it crashes after I create a water ride?

I got this game without ever playing a roller coaster tycoon Game and I thought it would be really fun. But for some reason I dont have it installed I just paid for and yeah this is just another one to add to the pile of games you bought and never played again. If youve played this before then its a great nostalgic piece. New players: dont go near it the graphics are ehh and it just is kinda childish. :)

Aside from the fact that all of my CS was deleted, I don’t really understand the point of this update. You would think that after so many years of not having an update, they would at least optimize some aspects of the game for retina screens. Also, for those of you struggling with full screen/window screen, when you open the game, under options it lets you pick if you want full screen or whatnot.

just downloaded the game and as soon as i opened a new park everthing was dark, couldnt see the ground or and thing. dont know why but pretty bummed out by this.

My mac told me to delete and re dowload since the game wouldnt open, I cant even install it again

I have been playing RCT3 for multiple years. Over time, I have collected various types of custom scenery and with this update, all custom scenery has been removed from my game. I have lost 11 parks to this update and I am NOT happy. Hours have been spent perfecting parks for it to all be deleted. Thanks a lot for a useless update. I used to love this game, but now I am just frustrated.

The game is GREAT! The recent update is NOT! All of my beautiful parks with countless amounts of custom content cannot be loaded now because everything was deleted! It will take FOREVER for me to find all of that content and re-download it. What a bummer. I was thrilled that RCT3 FINALLY received an update, but had I known it would delete my CS, I would have avoided it. I hope there is a way to fix this. If not, I’m back to square one. Great.

This game was alright until it missed something in the game itself which is the ride tool option so that you can upload a customized pre-built ride from the site and be able to use it in that game. You guys need to fix that problem because it is annoying.

This is a awesome great game for me and a lot of Mac users. But there are BUGS in the game. SERIOUSLY BAD bugs. Theres sometimes some times when you are on a rollercoaster or viewing the rollercoaster, the sound of the ride is muted. You van only hear screams but no rollerocaster. It’s sad to hear nothing when a rollercoaster is testing. :( Or just hearing peeps screaming with no Rollercoaster sound. Please fix! PS. Please make RollerCoaster Tycoon World for Mac! Please. i’m looking foward for the game. :)

the keyboard functions that should toggle the camera as well as other features such as pausing the game do not work. needs an update immediately

I would love to give this game a more subective rating, but I can’t even play it! Within the last 15 minutes, it crashed 3 times. I have contacted support, but have not heard anything back.

If I had listened to the other reviews i would have never have downloaded and played the game, But i did download and been playing the game for about a week now, Not a single issue with the game what so ever, What some people have an issue is not fully reading the game information and downloading it and the computer not the right stats on the computer. 5 stars, plus more if i could, Awesome game, Use to play it back when it first came out. CPU i have is 15” MBP RD 2.2 I7 16gb Ram and 128 gb storage
